These accounts and messages may promote fake campaigns or advertisements, or direct customers to fraudulent shopping websites. Accessing such accounts or messages may result in financial loss or leakage of personal information.
Common characteristics of fraudulent advertisements and DMs include:
• Luxury brand items being offered at extremely low prices (often labeled as "Clearance Sale" or "Closing Sale").
• URLs that differ from the official websites of Takashimaya or our group companies.
• Unnatural or incorrect Japanese expressions.
• The use of non-standard or unusual fonts.
Please note that even if these accounts or websites display our official logos and trademarks, they have no affiliation with Takashimaya.
If you encounter a suspicious account or receive a DM from one, please do not access any URLs provided; instead, delete the DM and block the account immediately.

【Telephone Scams】
There have been numerous cases of fraudulent activity where individuals claim to be Takashimaya representatives, stating, “Someone is attempting to use your card for a purchase. Due to the risk of fraudulent activity, the Japanese Bankers Association will contact you.” They then attempt to solicit sensitive information such as your bank name, account number, and PIN, or may even visit your home to take possession of your bank card.
Please be advised that Takashimaya will never make such phone calls. Even if you receive a call or visit from someone claiming to be our employee or a representative of the Japanese Bankers Association, strictly refrain from sharing your PIN or any bank account information, and never hand over your bank card.
